Garliflower couscous
Garliflower... hehe... get it? Like garlic + cauliflower. Anyways, I didn't have the appetite to do anything special for a long time. However, yesterday, I just wanted to do something out of cauliflower and I wanted to think of my own recipe. This is something to eat when you are feeling a cold coming on because the garlic and turmeric are going to heal you completely.
Recipe: 1 small cauliflower
small onion
2 garlic cloves
half a cup of soaked cashews
3 handfuls of couscous
paprika powder, turmeric, salt, pepper, herbs (parsley, rosemary, thyme, basil)
First fry the onion in a pot with some oil til it's brownish. Then add garlic, cauliflower pieces, water and seasonings. Let the cauliflower go a little soft.
Then add the cashews and puree the thing into a mash. Add more water if it's too dry.
Then add the couscous and pour the mixture into a form. Cover the form with foil and put the couscous in the ovan for 180 degrees C for about 20 minutes. Check it after a while and add water if the mash is too dry.
And then it's done.
