Christmas cocoa
Today is such a beautiful day! This morning, when I walked to school, it was a normal, dull, autumn day with (gladly) no ice or snow. Then I didn't even think it could be snowy soon... and if it would've snowed, I would've hated it. But today, it started snowing. My first reaction was - snow - eww. But then it didn't stop snowing. And it snowed and snowed. Then, when I went home, I just had to admit that it was winter wonderland. I mean, look at this!
I just HAD TO make a spicy delicious cocoa. It is such a must.
(for one)
Recipe: 1 cup of vegan milk (oatmilk)
1 tblsp. pure cocoa powder
cayenne pepper, gingerbread flavouring, vanilla extract, salt
frozen berries (cranberries, blackcurrants)
I'm not a sugar-lover, but if you are, add sugar, too.
Mix milk, cocoa, a bit of cayenne (don't overdo it, it's delicious, but if you put too much, it will be undrinkable, put a little on your fingertip and that will do), a pinch of gingerbread flavoring, some drops of vanilla extract and a pinch of salt (also sugar if you'd like, I thought it was good without it) in a heated pot. Stir until they have combined, let it heat for awhile.
Then add 2 handfuls of berries - it was just magical with them. I like hot drinks with berries.
Heat until the berries are soft (frozen berries) and enjoy! It was sooo delicious......
