Carrot - apple jam

We had secret Santa at school and guess who I got... my teacher! :D I thought she might be the only one I could make some cool food for. Something, that maybe my classmates couldn't appreciate. Anyways, I made this jam, but I don't know if she liked it. 


Recipe: 800ml grated carrots
1l (or more) peeled and chopped apples
80-100 g sugar
cinnamon, vanilla essence, a bit of salt

Put the carrots and apples in a pot with ~50 ml water. Boil them on low heat for about 40 minutes. Then add sugar and seasonings and puree or tamp the jam if you'd like. Boil the jam for another ~20 minutes and then it's done.
