My special Over-night oats
I have seen over-night oat recipes a lot and I have wanted to do this for a long time. Then for some time I forgot about it and randomly got the appetite one day. Then I mixed random ingredients and was MORE than satisfied with it. I loved it.
Ingredients:
50g oats (whole wheat)
2 teasp. poppy seeds
2 teasp. ground linseeds
1 teasp. maca powder (could be left out)
handful of buckthorn berries (or other)
handful of redcurrants or strawberries (or others)
100ml soymilk
brown sugar
pumpkin seeds
All these ingredients have a good reason to be in here btw. - oats (health, iron), poppy seeds (calcium), linseeds (omega fats), maca (energy), strawberries (iron), buckthorn (vitamins)
Do this:
1. Take a nice glass and pour 20 grams of raw oats to the bottom of it. Add a handful of berries. Pour another 30 grams of oats with seeds and maca powder over the berries. You could season it with brown sugar.
Pour a bit of soymilk all over the deliciousness. On top, add another handful of berries and the remaining of the soymilk.
Put a foil on top of the glass and the glass in the fridge overnight. Once you start eating it you could add pumpkin seeds - they'll make the whole thing nicely crunchy. But the soaked oats are just amazing on it's own so it'll be delicious either way. :P
