Flummery
One day, I decided to make Flummery.
My grandad gave me the idea and then I had a huge appetite for it. And I gotta say it was one of the most delicious things I have done. I was acctually quite easy, too.
Recipe:
300g oatflakes
1l hot water
Stir the components together.
Let it sit in a warm place (under a radiator, near a stove) about 48-50 hours.
When the time is up, put the mixture (like oat porridge) on a sieve and let the milky mixture fall into a bowl. You can stir in some hot water so it would be easier. When the milky oat mixture has detatched from the porridge (it took me about 2-3 hours, you should help with a spoon) put it in a pot and heat it on a low temperature for about 30-40 minutes, so it’ll reduce. Add 1tsp - or more - salt.
Then it’s done. It’s best when it’s warm, I heated it up in the mornings and added blueberries and strawberries, it was delicious like that.
